Kadran (iOS, com.akcware.kadran) — Developer: Askin Kadir Cekim (akcware)
Effective date: 26 September 2026
This policy explains what data the Kadran iOS app ("Kadran", "the app") handles and how. In short: Kadran has no accounts, we don't track you, and your preferences stay on your device.
1. No accounts, no tracking
- Kadran has no user accounts and no sign-in.
- The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- The advertising identifier (IDFA) is not used, and there is no tracking across apps or websites.
- Your data is not sold or shared for advertising.
2. Data stored only on your device
The following is stored locally in an SQLite database on your device and is never uploaded to our servers:
- Your swipes (likes and passes)
- Your taste profile
- Your favourites and collections
- An in-app usage event log (kept on the device only)
You can delete this data with the Reset profile button in the Profile tab. Deleting the app also removes it from your device.
3. Network requests
- Kadran API: The app connects to the Kadran API, hosted on Vercel (
kadran-api.vercel.app), to fetch the watch catalogue and to run searches. Your search queries are sent to this server.
- Server logs: As with any web request, the hosting provider (Vercel) may process your IP address and request metadata in standard server logs for operation and security. Kadran does not use this information to identify users or build profiles.
- Images: Watch images are loaded from third-party image hosts (for example, retailers' CDNs). These hosts receive standard request data (such as your IP address) when an image loads.
4. Retailer websites
